The capital and largest city of Northern Ireland, Belfast in Ulster province is a city mainly famous for conflicts between Catholics and Protestants during The Troubles. The ship Titanic was built in Belfast by Harland and Wolff. Nowadays, the city is a centre for industry. Queen’s University is a centre of public research excellence in Belfast. The Lanyon Building especially is architecturaly wonderful. This world class heritage produced Nobel Laureates and International Leaders like Seamus Heaney (Nobel prize of Literature) and Mary McAleese (President of Ireland 1997-2011). Moreover, this University is also very well known for supporting and claiming Catholicism and Presbyterianism rather than Anglicanism in the 19th Century.
